Our 8' 5-weight Master Handcrafted Bamboo Fly Rod is being built for anglers who want something more than another piece of fishing gear. This is a rod made to spend its life on the river—chasing trout through mountain streams, big Western rivers, and everything in between.
Built entirely by hand from carefully selected bamboo, every part of this rod is shaped, fitted, wrapped, finished, and tuned in our Utah shop. No shortcuts. No assembly line. Just traditional craftsmanship and a whole lot of time at the bench.
At 8 feet and 5 weight, this rod is a versatile workhorse for trout fishing. It offers the smooth, progressive feel that makes bamboo so addictive, with enough backbone to handle a wide range of flies, casts, and river conditions.
This particular rod is currently on the bench and being built by hand. We expect it to be completed by late September.
