Have you ever dreamed of building your own custom bamboo fly rod, but you just don’t have the time to commit to a traditional multi-day class? Now you don’t have to.

Rivercraft Rodsmiths is proud to introduce a completely new way to build a bamboo fly rod—on your schedule, at your pace, and with the expert help whenever you need it.

Our Build on Your Time program gives you ongoing access to our state-of-the-art rod-building shop, equipment, expertise, and workspace without being locked into a set class schedule. Whether you have an hour after work, a Saturday afternoon, or an entire day to dedicate to your project, you decide when you build.

Build When You Can and take as long as you need.

The program is simple:

$29 Monthly Access Fee
Your monthly membership gives you ongoing access to the Rivercraft rod-building shop, expertise, and a secure locker where you can store your rod and supplies between sessions.

$39 Per Hour Build Fee
When you're ready to build, simply schedule your shop time. Your hourly fee includes the bamboo required for your rod and all basic building supplies—including glue, cork, thread wraps, and other consumables.

Choose the components that make your rod uniquely yours.

You won't be left to figure it out alone.

Our trained Rivercraft Rodsmith staff will be there during your scheduled build sessions to teach, guide, answer questions, and help you master the skills required to build a beautiful bamboo fly rod. Once you've received the proper initial training, you'll have access to all of our shop's power tools, hand tools, and specialized rod-building equipment, including our lasers for custom engraving.

You'll do the work—but you'll have experienced rodsmiths in your corner every step of the way.

With our Build on Your Time program, you can take days, weeks, months, or as long as you need to complete your rod. Come in when your schedule allows, work at your own pace, and pick up exactly where you left off.

There is no race to the finish line. The adventure is in the build.

And when you finally step onto the river with a bamboo fly rod that you built with your own hands, you'll know every split, planed strip, wrap, and finish represents a piece of your journey.

• An initial 2-hour orientation and safety class is required before you can begin building

• Standard quality reel seats, ferrules, and guides are included. Specialty and custom hardware is available for an additional cost.

• Shop time must be scheduled in 1-hour increments.

• Access to laser engraving equipment requires some additional safety training, and you must supply your own files and PC
